• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You may not use false or misleading information
• You may not create multiple accounts
• You may not create an account on behalf of another person

All reviews, comments, and opinions expressed on Australian Breeder Reviews:

• Are solely those of the individual poster
• Do not reflect the views or opinions of Australian Breeder Reviews
• Are not endorsed by Australian Breeder Reviews, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any opinion expressed in a review
• Are not independently fact-checked by us, except that a review marked with a "Verified Purchase" badge has had the underlying transaction (not the opinion) confirmed on a best-effort basis (see section 5.4)
• Remain the sole responsibility of the user who posted them

You agree not to:

• Violate any Australian laws or regulations
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Impersonate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website
• Use automated systems or bots
• Interfere with the Website's operation
• Sell or transfer your account
• Post spam or promotional content
• Collect user information without consent

All posted content must:

• Be honest and accurate
• Be based on personal experience
• Not contain hate speech or discrimination
• Not include personal contact information
• Not violate intellectual property rights
• Not contain explicit or inappropriate material
• Not contain promotional or commercial content
• Not contain threats or incite violence

• Users must comply with all applicable Australian laws, including:
  • Australian Consumer Law
  • Competition and Consumer Act 2010
  • Defamation laws
  • Privacy Act 1988
  • Animal welfare laws
• Users are responsible for ensuring their content doesn't violate third-party rights
• Users must comply with state-specific breeding regulations
• International users must comply with both Australian and their local laws

• Reviews must be based on genuine experiences
• One review per experience
• No compensation for reviews
• No self-reviews by breeders
• No reviews by competitors
• No reviews by family members or employees of breeders

• You retain ownership of your review content
• You grant us a perpetual license to display your review
• We may edit, remove, or decline to post reviews
• We may use reviews for marketing purposes

To keep reviews genuine and fair, we use a combination of automated screening and human moderation. In particular, we may:

• Automatically screen reviews for prohibited language, and hold higher-risk reviews (for example, those containing serious allegations, those from brand-new accounts, or patterns that suggest coordinated or duplicated activity) for manual review before they are published
• Hide a review while it is being investigated after it has been reported
• Remove, edit, or decline to publish reviews that violate these Terms
• Request additional information or proof (such as proof of purchase) to verify a review
• Notify the breeder of a concerning review and give them an opportunity to respond
• Take action against reviews we reasonably believe to be fake, fraudulent, or the result of competitor sabotage

These measures are applied on a best-effort basis. Automated screening is not perfect, and the fact that a review has been published does not mean we endorse it or have verified its contents.

• A reviewer may choose to verify their review by providing proof that they obtained a dog from the breeder, such as a microchip number, receipt, or registration paperwork
• Where we are reasonably satisfied that valid proof has been provided, the review may display a "Verified Purchase" badge
• The badge indicates only that we have confirmed, on a best-effort basis, that a transaction took place. It does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of the reviewer's opinion
• Providing proof is voluntary, and the absence of a badge does not mean a review is false or untrustworthy
• We do not publicly display microchip numbers or other proof you submit. See our Privacy Policy for how this information is handled
